Pages are the articles in your Knowledge Base. This guide shows you how to create a page, write content, and manage it in the navigation tree.
You need the Owner, Admin, or Editor role to use the Knowledge Base Editor. Full editing needs a larger screen. On a phone, you'll see a read-only preview.
Create a page
Open Knowledge Base Editor.
In the navigation panel, select Create navigation item.
Choose New page.
Choose where the page should appear in the navigation tree.
Enter a Page title and start writing.
New pages start as Untitled page until you give them a title.
Write content
Click in the page body and start typing. To add something other than a paragraph, press / or select Add a block, then choose a block type:
Heading 1 to Heading 4
Bulleted list and numbered list
Blockquote
Code block
Table
Image
Video embed
Card
Accordion group
For details on each block, see Formatting reference for articles.
Format text
Select text to open the formatting toolbar. You can apply bold, italic, strikethrough, inline code, and links.
Rearrange blocks
Hover over a block and use its handle to drag it up or down, or use the arrow keys. Open Block options to insert a block above or below, duplicate it, or delete it.
Undo and redo
Use Undo and Redo in the editor, or your keyboard shortcuts (Cmd+Z / Ctrl+Z).
Saving
The editor saves your work automatically as a draft. You'll see Saving…, then Draft saved or Saved · Ready to publish. Saved drafts aren't visible to customers until you publish.
If someone else edits the same draft at the same time, you'll be asked to reload before saving or publishing so nobody's changes are lost.
Manage a page
Open a page's menu in the navigation tree to:
Open it in the editor
Rename it
Duplicate it
Move to Page Storage to take it out of the navigation
Delete page
Delete a page
Open the page's menu and select Delete page.
Confirm in Delete this page?
If the page was already published, it's removed from your public help center the next time you publish.
Tip: If you're not sure you want to delete a page, choose Move to Page Storage instead. It stays private and you can bring it back later.
