Connect your support address to start receiving customer emails as requests. This is the first step of email setup.
Email support is included in your free trial and on the Essential plan. You need the Owner or Admin role.
Before you start
Create at least one active team to receive email requests.
Make sure you can edit DNS records for your email domain.
Make sure you can change forwarding settings for your support mailbox.
Step 1: Enter your email details
Go to Settings → Email.
In Support email address, enter the address customers write to. Type the part before the @ symbol, then select its domain.
In Sender name, enter the From name customers see on replies, for example "Acme Support".
In Intake team, choose the team that should receive new email requests.
Select Connect email.
You'll see Email address submitted. Add the DNS records below.
Step 2: Add DNS records
Supahelp shows the DNS records to add for your domain. See Add DNS records for email.
Step 3: Set up forwarding
Once DNS is verified, set up automatic forwarding from your mailbox. See Set up and verify email forwarding.
When it's done
When forwarding is verified, you'll see Forwarding verified. Your support email is active. The connection status shows Active, and new emails to your support address appear as requests for your intake team.
Made a typo?
While setup is still pending, select Change email address to correct the address. If only the part before the @ changes, your verified DNS records still apply. If you change the domain, you'll need to add DNS records for the new domain.
