Add DNS records for email

On this page
DNS records prove you own your email domain and let Supahelp send replies from your support address without landing in spam.
Find your records
Go to Settings → Email.
Under DNS records, you'll see each record to add, with its Type, Host or name, and Value.
Use the copy buttons to copy each value exactly.
Records may include TXT, CNAME, and MX types. Add every record shown.
Choose your DNS provider
Select your provider in Show DNS instructions for to see steps for:
Cloudflare
GoDaddy
Namecheap
Porkbun
Amazon Route 53
Other or not sure
Your DNS provider is usually where you bought your domain, or where your domain's nameservers point.
Add the records
Sign in to your DNS provider and open the DNS settings for your domain.
Add each record exactly as shown in Supahelp.
For MX records, set the priority to 10.
Save your changes.
Important: Add the new records alongside your existing ones. Don't replace or delete your existing MX records. They deliver email to your current mailbox.
Verify
Return to Settings → Email.
Select Verify DNS records.
When verification succeeds, you'll see DNS records verified. Continue with forwarding setup.
If verification fails
DNS changes can take up to an hour to appear. If you see DNS records are not verified yet:
Double-check each host and value against Supahelp, character for character.
Check your provider didn't add your domain to the end of the host automatically, for example name.acme.com.acme.com.
Wait a while, refresh the page, and select Verify DNS records again.
Provider-specific issues
If you see a message that the domain may already be registered to another sending account, the domain is set up with the email service elsewhere. Remove it from the other account, or use a different domain.
