Take an article off your help center when it's outdated or no longer relevant. You can hide it and keep it as a draft, or delete it entirely.
Option 1: Hide an article (keep it as a draft)
Use this when you plan to update the article or might need it again.
In the Knowledge Base Editor, find the page in the navigation tree.
Open its menu and select Move to Page Storage.
Select Publish changes.
The article disappears from your help center, and the page stays in Page storage. To bring it back, select Move to Navigation and publish again.
Option 2: Delete an article
Use this when you don't need the content anymore.
Find the page in the navigation tree or Page storage.
Open its menu and select Delete page.
Confirm in Delete this page?
Select Publish changes to remove it from your help center.
Remove a whole topic
Move or delete every page inside the topic's folder.
Open the empty folder's menu and select Delete empty group.
Publish your changes.
The topic's card is removed from Browse topics on your home page.
Before you remove an article
Check for links. Other articles may link to it. Update those links so customers don't hit a dead end.
Consider redirecting the topic. If an article is replaced by a new one, add a link to the new article instead of deleting the old one straight away.
Check your main cards. If a home page main card points to the page, choose a new destination before publishing.
