Contacts are the customers who reach out to your team. Every request is linked to a contact, so you can see who asked and everything they've asked before.
How contacts are created
How | What happens |
A customer submits your request form | Supahelp matches their email address to an existing contact, or creates a new one. |
A customer emails your support address | The sender becomes a contact, or is matched to an existing one. |
Your team adds a request | Choose an existing contact or create a new one. |
What a contact includes
Field | Required | Limit |
First name | Yes | 100 characters |
Last name | Yes |
Contacts vs. members
Contacts are your customers. They don't sign in to Supahelp.
Members are your team. They sign in to the admin portal to work on requests.
Find a contact
In the admin portal, select Contacts. Use Search contacts to search by name, email, company, or role.
Privacy
Contacts belong to your workspace. Only members of your workspace can see them.
